Jansen specialises in property law and is wholly dedicated to providing expert advice and exceptional service to his clients. After serving articles in Bloemfontein and George, Jansen moved to Johannesburg in 1986. He became a director at a well-known law firm in 1988. In the late 80s and early 90s, he acted on behalf of the local councils of Greater Soweto in order to convert leasehold to freehold, and provide ownership of property to individual citizens.

Jansen became a founding director of Snymans Inc. in 1995. Under his guidance Snymans Inc. has become a well-established and renowned property law firm.

Clive currently manages the development and finance space within the firm and externally with related clients. He focuses on management, conveyancing, as well as marketing, training and arbitration activities. He is an admitted Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer. Clive completed his studies at the University of Johannesburg, including a BA Law degree with a major in Psychology, an LLB degree and a postgraduate qualification in Sports Law. Clive, also a keen sportsman, at many levels, has extended a team-based ethos within and a network which has complemented his client base and career at and around Snymans Inc.

Stacey started at Snymans Inc. in 2011 and is currently managing the Randburg branch. Stacey matriculated at St Andrew’s High School in 2001, after which she completed her LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg. Stacey completed her articles at a firm in Hyde Park, Johannesburg where she obtained experience in law, including litigation, commercial law, family law and criminal law. Stacey was admitted as an Attorney in 2008, then decided to expand her work experience with an internationally recognised life and business coaching qualification. She has used these skills to implement high-level interventions on a strategic and leadership level. This experience has given her significant insights into building trusted relationships in all aspects of her career.

Wessel studied law at the University of Pretoria where he completed his B.Comm LLB LLM (with honours) degrees spending a part of his LLM research at 3 various university law schools in the USA. Wessel also lectured on corporate law to the M&A master class at his alma mater for 8 years on a part time basis. Wessel served as a director with a corporate firm and also managed his own private practice prior to joining Snymans Inc. in the beginning of 2015. Over the past 24 years, he has built an established practice and gained vast experience in conveyancing and commercial law and now strives to add his specialised skills to the successful and dynamic team at Snymans Inc.

Glenda Nell joined Snymans Attorneys in March 2016. She obtained her B Proc Degree 1991 and later qualified as an Attorney 1994. Her dream and passion was to qualify as a Conveyancer which she achieved in 1996 and as Notary Public in 2008. She has been a director of a law firm for 21 years heading the bonds and cancellations department for all four major banks, being a top performing attorney on their panels. She also has vast experience in all other aspects of property law. Glenda was made a Director at Snymans on 1 March 2019.

Marlene obtained her LLB degree in 2004 and is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public. Marlene specialises in all aspects of property law, including the bond and transfer process, township developments, sectional title and share block scheme developments, subdivisions and consolidations, notarial bonds, leases and servitudes and drafting of legal agreements. She also provides advice to clients and all role players in the conveyancing process. Marlene joined the Snymans team in 2016, managing the Cape Town Office and was appointed Director of Snymans in 2019.

After completing his articles at Snymans Inc in 2008, Muhammad’s career path as an Attorney and Conveyancer took him to Nedbank where he spent almost 10 years in various roles across the organisation.

His passion for holistic well-being and a people-centred focus, coupled with qualifications in life coaching and yoga, enables Muhammad to effect his purpose in getting others to be the greatest, grandest versions of themselves.

He enjoys Nature and poetry and is excited by being able to create dynamic flow out of stillness.

Annabelle grew up in KZN and matriculated in 1997. She obtained her LLB degree from UKZN and is an admitted as an Attorney, Notary & Conveyancer. She has in been a practicing Conveyancer in excess of 15 years. She is the Managing Director of the HJG Snymans Inc, KZN office.

Jean-Mari is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public based at the Ruimsig Office and obtained her LLM in Estate Planning 2013. Jean-Mari specialises in deceased estate transfer, divorce transfer and distressed sale transfer which include FNB Quick Sell transfers and Standard Bank Easy Sell transfer.

Anel obtained her B Proc degree in 1996 at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an Attorney in 1997. She thereafter obtained her LLB degree in 2002 at the University of Pretoria.

Anel worked in the corporate and commercial environment for 13 years and was the Attorney Liaison Manager for FNB Private Lending.

Cilna completed her LLB Degree at Unisa, after which she was admitted as an Attorney in 2007. She co-founded Steyn & Steyn Attorneys, where she began to specialise in evictions. She regularly presents training sessions, where she advises groups of rental agents and private landlords on matters relating to Landlord and Tenant Disputes and broader scope Property Law related matters. She also acts on the panel of experts for the Law Society of South Africa’s Legal Education and Development. She presents seminars on behalf of LSSA: LEAD, educating attorneys nationally on eviction procedures and rental claims. She is one of the drafting attorneys of the TPN (Tenant Profile Network) Residential Lease Pack.

Cilna authored “The Landlord’s Guide – Property Rental and Eviction” in 2015 and regularly publishes articles in newspapers and peer review magazines. She also appears on television and radio, participating in discussions relating to Property Law and in particular evictions. Cilna is an author for LexisNexis on the topic of Lease and Eviction.

Nicholas completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Law during 2011 and obtained his postgraduate LLB Degree during 2013, he obtained both degrees from the University of Witwatersrand.
He is an admitted Attorney and was placed in the Commercial Property Department since the commencement of his Articles. He has gained exposure in a wide variety of property related matters including eviction and rental collections, pertaining to commercial, retail and industrial property. Nicholas finds great joy in complex litigation matters and regularly does appearances in the Magistrates’ and High Courts.
Nicholas joined the Firm’s management team in 2017 as the Financial Director. While heading the Commercial Department, he is dedicated to attend to the Firm’s finances as well.

Maret joined Snymans Inc in May 2016 and manages the RMB and FNB Private Wealth profile in our bonds Department. Prior to joining Snymans, she worked in a commercial banking environment, during which time she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing.

Edward completed his articles at Snymans Inc. in the Fourways branch. He grew up in Johannesburg and matriculated from Hoërskool Florida where after he obtained his BA Law degree and LLB at the University of Johannesburg. His main focus is currently in the bond department though he is well equipped towards all aspects of the conveyancing process.

Joy grew up in Cape Town and matriculated from Fairbarin College in 2011. Thereafter she pursued an LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape and completed her articles at a law firm in Tygervalley. Joy was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public in 2018 and has recently joined our Cape Town branch.

Charmaine hails from Pietermaritzburg. She previously worked in a litigation firm in KZN for a year before signing with Snymans Incorporated to gain experience in Conveyancing. She completed her degree with the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg campus) in 2017. Her interests in law lie in Conveyancing and Tax law. She prides herself on getting things done with no hesitation!

Nicola Drinn matriculated from Durban Girls’ College in 1996, where after she obtained her B. Soc Science and LLB Degrees respectively from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Nicola is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public. Nicola specialized in Conveyancing having completed her articles with a well-known Durban Firm. Nicola also practiced in Johannesburg and has since relocated back to the Coast where she attends to the bond work at the Ballito Office.

Born and bred in Pietermaritzburg. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies as well as an LLB, both obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (PMB Campus). She completed her articles of clerkship at a litigation firm in PMB, shortly thereafter she moved to Ballito. She has a keen interest in Property law, Intellectual property law and litigation. When she is not working she enjoys great food and experimenting with cuisines from around the world.

Marike joined Snymans in March 2020 and she is based in the Nelspruit branch, where she is tasked with managing the Nelspruit branch.
Marike obtained her LLB Degree from the North West University in 2013. She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2014 and commenced her articles in the same year. During her articles she obtained experience in Estates, High Court – and Magistrates Court litigation and Conveyancing. In 2015 she was admitted as a Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa and subsequently in 2017 she was admitted as a Notary Public of the High Court of South Africa.

Cara started at Snymans Inc in March 2020 and is currently situated in our Cape Town Branch. Cara obtained her LLB at the University of Stellenbosch in 2015 where after she did her articles at Laas & Scholtz Inc situated in Durbanville. During her articles Cara gained experience in litigation, commercial law, property and family law. Cara was admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary public in 2018. After her articles Cara moved to a firm in Tygervalley where she gained knowledge in conveyancing and transfers and has ever since had a keen interest in all things related to property law. Cara further obtained her diploma in compliance in 2020. 

Tatum matriculated at Trinity House High in 2011 after which she completed her LLB Degree (cum laude) at the University of Johannesburg.
Tatum completed her articles at a firm in Rosebank, Johannesburg where she developed a keen interest and passion for property law. She was admitted as an Attorney and Notary Public of the High Court in 2018. 
She enjoys client interaction and dealing with complex lending property transactions.
Tatum is currently in the RMB and FNB Private Wealth Bonds department at our Ruimsig office.

Daniella commenced her articles at Snymans Inc. in 2015 where she started her journey to become an expert in conveyancing, alongside her fellow Snymans Inc. colleagues.

Chabie joined Snymans Inc in 2018 as a candidate attorney, after previously having had worked as a legal intern in the Housing and Deceased Estates Department for Probono.Org. She completed her LLB degree with the University of South Africa in 2016. Chabie was also a Legal and Financial advisor for Legal Exchange Corporation, an insurance underwriter for Santam. Her areas of interest in law are conveyancing and commercial law.

Born and raised in Durban, KZN, Sicelo graduated with a LLB from Wits University. When not practicing law, Sicelo is a musical artist and producer, having released and published musical works on international digital platforms. His professional interests are in Conveyancing, Media and Entertainment and IP law.

Candis has been actively involved in the property industry for the past 20 years. She believes in building long-term relationships in order to understand and cater to her clients’ individual needs. She has extensive experience in bridging finance, bond origination and conveyancing, which has afforded her a well-rounded understanding of the property industry.

Liezel has been a part of the Snymans team for more than seven years. She is responsible for organising events, functions and a wide range of other marketing activities.

Candice prides herself on providing a niche, tailor-made service for her clients based on each client’s specific needs and requirements. She believes trust is earned and is committed to nurturing, building and cementing sustainable business relationships.

Coming from a public relations and corporate communication background, Lynette has a successful track record in building enduring people centric business relationships.
